A beautifully restored Italian palazzo !
The house is in the traditional Tuscan style and has been completely restored in 2000. It has the typical wooden beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and two open fire places, but it also offers all the modern comforts like central heating and wifi. It has been the Attwood family home for the last 50 years and books, paintings, antique furniture all give it an individual, homely, comfortable atmosphere.
The living area is on two floors. On the first floor there is a big trattoria style dining room with an old marble table perfect for rolling out fresh pasta and the perfectly equipped kitchen. Just lean back and enjoy a nice glass of wine infront of the large traditional stone fireplace while waiting for dinner.
On the upper floor there is a spacious and comfortable sitting room (45m²) with an open fire place, a big wooden table and three nice sofas. Perfect for relaxing and watching TV or movies after a day full of sport and cultural activities. The table is also ideal for having a round of board games with the whole family or group.
Altogether the house can offer five comfortable bedrooms with beds for 10-12 people. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower on the first floor and a bigger one with a bathtub in the upper floor. There is an extra toilet in the laundry.
In the old stables and cantinas of the ground floor is the caretaker's flat with a separate entrance and garden at the back of the house. You will find more information on the bedrooms and the equipment of the house on the next pages.
